Publisher:ELSEVIER

Year:2100

Description:

This international journal provides a medium of communication between engineers and scientists engaged in research and development within the fields of knowledge embraced by IFToMM, the International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science.

The main topics are:

  • Design Theory and Methodology.
  • Haptics and Human-Machine-Interfaces.
  • Robotics, Mechatronics and Micro-Machines.
  • Mechanisms, Mechanical Transmissions and Machines.
  • Kinematics, Dynamics, and Control of Mechanical Systems.
  • Applications to Bioengineering and Molecular Chemistry.

Methodologically, this includes theoretical, experimental, and/or historical approaches, along with their practical application, including education. Substantially, the journal aims at covering all subjects related to mechanisms and machines in general, such as: design theory and methodology, kinematics of mechanisms, rotor dynamics, computational kinematics, multibody dynamics, dynamics of machinery, nonlinear vibrations, linkages and cams, gearing and transmissions, transportation machinery, control and reliability of mechanical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, experimental test techniques, robots and robotic technologies, mechatronics, micromachines, human-machine interfaces, haptics, among others. Prospective fields of application of mechanism and machine science to other scientific areas such as bioengineering and molecular chemistry are also welcome.

Name:Journal of Multi-body Dynamics

Author:

Publisher:Professional Engineering Publishing Limited

Year:1999

Description:From the journal: "The Journal of Multi-body Dynamics is an international multi-disciplinary forum covering all aspects of mechanical design and dynamic analysis of multi-body systems. These include vehicles, mechanical machines, and mechanisms that constitute an assembly of part, or components that effect, the dynamic behaviour of the system as a whole. The dynamic analysis of multibody systems often includes dynamic interactions of various phenomena, such as large rigid-body motions, flexible-body oscillation, friction-induced stick-slip perturbations, and lubricated contact dynamics. The contributions to the Journal should reflect the holistic approach to the analysis of practical engineering multi-body dynamic problems. Those on design, analysis, and experimentation should have a system dynamic approach, highlighting the interactions between various system components. New techniques of analysis are welcome as well as practical applications of problem-solving methods to industrial systems and products."

Name:Multibody System Dynamics

Author:

Publisher:Springer

Year:1997

Description:

This journal reports original contributions describing significant developments of different topics in multibody system dynamics through a single journal. Mathematical foundations, numerical procedures, experimental results, software development and applications of this field are of interest to the readers.

Multibody System Dynamics includes theoretical and computational methods in rigid and flexible multibody systems, their applications and experimental procedures used to validate the theoretical foundations. The research reported in this journal addresses the issues of new formulations, solution algorithms, computational efficiency, analytical and computational kinematics, synthesis, flexibility effects, control, optimization, real-time-simulation, parallel computations, workspace and path planning, reliability and durability. Fields such as vehicle dynamics, aerospace technology, robotics and mechatronics, machine dynamics, crashworthiness, biomechanics, computer graphics or system identification are also covered by the journal if the treated topic is related with multibody system dynamics.
